• Provide pre and post-operative care for surgical patients. • Responsibilities include refilling medication, scheduling appointments and procedures, obtain vaginal cultures, administering injections, report normal and abnormal lab results to patients. • Assist to perform sterile vaginal exams and assessments of women during the stages of labor, fetal monitoring, and assisting families with the birthing process. • Care for patients throughout the different stages of labor in addition to pre-partum and postpartum care.

Experience in 145-bed, skilled nursing facility environments including patient support, monitoring health condition changes, behavioral changes, isolation, G-Tube feeding, and dialysis assessments. Ability to perform sterile procedures such as Foley Catheterization, proper medical administration, timely ordering of refill medications and controlled medications, and experience in wound healing and skin maintenance. Transcribing physician orders completely, care planning for diagnoses, reporting abnormal lab values and conditions to physician in timely manner. Computer skilled, managing heavy daily patient volume. Proficiency in documentation, record maintenance, and paperwork with respect to patient confidentiality.
