Annual TPT Cornhole Competition
Established an annual cornhole competition in honor of my late bull terrier, Tucker, to benefit Bull Terrier Rescue organizations such as California based Bull Terrier Rescue, Inc. and NYC based Bull Terrier Rescue Mission. Organizer in collaboration with significant other. The competition has raised $2,170+ in donations over four years, 2019–2023.

Restoring What’s Lost: Promising Research for Remyelination in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis
Presentation
An overview of therapies for multiple sclerosis aimed at slowing molecular mechanisms that cause demyelination and repairing damage in the central nervous system. Presented research presentation at the Virtual OMNI Research Showcase, MiraCosta College Honors Program in December 2020 (receiving 10/10 rankings), and at the Virtual UCI Community College Honors Research Conference on May 26, 2021.
Climbing Beta to Reduce the Risk of Injury: Associated Anatomy and Flexor Tendon Pulley Injuries
Research
The purpose of the research was to analyze the tendon flexor pulley system and associated musculoskeletal injuries due to rock climbing based on a review of the literature and the dissection. With a greater awareness of injury risks, climbers can conduct better preventative measures. A hand dissection was conducted as part of this research thanks to UCSD School of Medicine Body Donation Program and Male Cadaver (Case #UCSD-19-165). Research and paper completed in 2019.

Incentive Spirometry to Prevent Pneumonia and Nutrition to Promote Health Teaching Plan
Research
The research was conducted for a teaching plan completed for a post op patient cared for during a clinical rotation at Palomar Health Hospital. The teaching focused on incentive spirometry and nutrition. 50/50 marks and the Professor requested using it as an example for the proceeding first semester cohort.
